Darren Parker is a part time knife maker and full time farmer. Darren and his wife Michelle live on a 1600 acre farm in North Western Queensland, Australia. They have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. They grow 100 acres of Lucerne to sell, and for feeding their 300 Simbrah cattle.

His knife shop is in an open farm shed beside his tractor and hay bails. The shop is very basic, you won't find any fancy machines in his shop, just an old belt grinder, a hacksaw, and a few hand tools. It sounds to me that Darren is like me, he uses "Skill, Not Technology".
